2020
In 2019, there was a burden in the heart of our patron and General Coordinator of Watchman Campus Fellowship, Pastor Edwin Onyeabor, PhD, to carry out a medical outreach and crusade in Liberia, which was termed Chariot Liberia.
This program was being planned for, however was hindered by the COVID-19 pandemic with international border closures. The medical committee that was set up for this task resorted to doing local medical outreaches as a way of getting ready pending when the pandemic would be over.
It was in the process of mobilizing health professionals among members of the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement that this group of health professionals metamorphosed into the Watchman's Medical Professionals Forum (WMPF) in 2020.
Born from a spiritual burden to serve
Mobilizing health professionals
Pastor Edwin Onyeabor, PhD, General Coordinator of Watchman Campus Fellowship, felt a burden to carry out a medical outreach and crusade in Liberia.
International border closures due to the pandemic led to a pivot towards local medical outreaches as preparation for the future Liberia mission.
The mobilization of health professionals among Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement members led to the birth of WMPF.
